Fairfield Harbour Clubhouse

New Bern, NC

The Fairfield Harbour Clubhouse is a newly completed 14,000-square-foot Harbour Club located along the Inner Harbour in New Bern, North Carolina. Designed with both resilience and experience in mind, the building is fully handicap accessible throughout and elevated 14 feet above sea level to mitigate flood risk while preserving uninterrupted waterfront views.

The clubhouse showcases a distinctive Down East Coastal Carolina architectural style, featuring a shingle roof with metal roof accents and lap siding. The building is intentionally oriented at a 45-degree angle to maximize views of the water and sunsets from nearly every primary gathering space.

Guests arrive via a circular drive that provides convenient drop-off and pick-up. Inside, the lobby welcomes visitors with a dramatic vaulted, pitched ceiling, setting the tone for the spaces beyond.

At the heart of the facility is the 3,800-square-foot Grand Hall, complete with exposed timber trusses spaced 8 feet on center. The hall includes built-in storage for tables and chairs, coat storage with a Dutch door system, and flexible seating capacity—accommodating 200 guests for seated dinners and up to 288 for plays and concerts.

Additional amenities include an octagonal porch overlooking the water, lounges and a bar for events, multiple meeting rooms, and a fully equipped catering kitchen with a dedicated unloading zone and catering parking area, as well as a buffet serving space.

Together, these elements create a landmark waterfront clubhouse that blends coastal character, functionality, and panoramic views designed to serve the Fairfield Harbour community for years to come.
